Champions Gate Resort is expertly located in Osceola County in Florida, spanning across 900 acres and approximately 20-25 minutes’ drive from Walt Disney World Resort. The resort is also conveniently situated just 30 minutes from Orlando International Airport.

Facilities & amenities...

In the heart of the resort rests the stunning clubhouse, encircled by its resort-style swimming pool, which features water slides, poolside cabanas, a lazy river and a splash park for the children. Other communal facilities located in the centre of Champions Gate include a fitness centre, cinema, children’s playground, games room, a luxurious spa and volleyball courts. There are also a range of excellent facilities for sports fanatics including an 18-hole golf course with a separate driving range and putting green, as well as a dedicated golf clubhouse fitted with a pro shop and locker rooms. In addition, there are six immaculate clay tennis courts on-site and a separate tennis clubhouse to take advantage of.

Dining...

All villas at Champions Gate Resort feature a spacious kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, a separate breakfast bar and formal dining area. Additionally, there is a poolside tiki bar serving light snacks and refreshing beverages, as well as a grill restaurant situated in the golf clubhouse for something more substantial.

Room Info...

Properties located here include 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9 bedroom homes with a capacity to accommodate up to 18 guests. Every home also contains a private screened pool, a master suite with a king- or queen-size bed and TV, a master bathroom with a tub and separate shower, and all have laundry facilities.

Things you should know...

Please note: Florida State Law requires all clients to register and all home bookings are required to pay a Property Protection Fee of $8 per day (capped at $120) by credit or debit card, as part of the registration and online check in. All clients must have completed registration to allow them to download their accommodation voucher approx. 14 days prior to their arrival date. This fee has been included in the costing of your holiday – but will be removed from your balance payment to pay direct to the Villa rental company on registration.

Electric pool heating is available and can be added at the time of booking at an additional charge. We recommend this during the months of October – April.

Adventure Of The Seas

Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas launched in 2001 and is the third of the revolutionary five ship Voyager class. When these large, impressive ships were launched they were the biggest cruise ships afloat but have now been surpassed by the recent Icon class at almost double the size. Despite this – Adventure of the Seas is 1020 feet long at 137,276 tonnes and accommodates 3114 passengers at double occupancy over 15 passenger decks. There are 14 dining options, 4 pools and 2 adrenalin pumping waterslides. There are specific areas on board for children, families and adults only which appeals to all types of holiday maker from all walks of life.

Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands)

This island remains part of the British Commonwealth and it is famed for its Scuba diving and white sandy beaches - in particular 7 Mile Beach close to Georgetown the capital. It is also one of the few nesting grounds of the loggerhead turtle. One of the best things to do is snorkelling with the Sting Rays – you will not be disappointed. Try visiting Hell - a village in the far corner of the island where you will find a turtle farm. Ships generally anchor off shore here and the island is reached by tender.

Falmouth (Jamaica)

Falmouth has recently been developed as an alternative cruise port on the north coast halfway between Ocho Rios and Montego Bay. There are some great attractions on Jamaica – the biggest one being Dunn's River Falls made famous by the James Bond film Dr No. Gentle bamboo rafting on the Martha Brae river (made famous by Errol Flynn) is exceedingly tranquil and worth doing. Another great trip is horse riding through the sugar cane plantations, on to the beach then swimming on your horse in the sea - absolutely marvellous. Perhaps visit the Blue Mountains and the coffee plantations for a unique souvenir or gift.
