Barcelona

The Christopher Columbus Statue marks the entrance to the port and the start of Las Ramblas pedestrian area – lined with shops, bars and restaurants where street entertainers keep you entertained. Perhaps visit the famous Sagrada Familia Cathedral which was started in 1882 and is still not complete. Universal's Port Aventura theme Park is situated close by, there is also the Picasso Museum, Gaudi Architecture and the Barcelona FC museum.

Azamara Journey

Azamara Journey is a gorgeous boutique style small ship of 30,277 tonnes carrying just 702 passengers. She was built in 2000 for Renaissance Cruises and originally named as the R Six. She was eventually acquired by Azamara Cruises originally under the RCCL umbrella and renamed as Azamara Journey in 2008 – she underwent refurbishment in 2024. Toulon

Toulon has many attractions include a historic quarter, port, beaches and Mont Faron mountain. Enjoy strolling around the Provencal market with its stalls piled high with sun-packed fruit and vegetables. The city is also home to a naval base where you can find out about the areas maritime heritage by taking a boat tour of the bay. The bus service next to the passenger terminal takes you to the Mourillon beaches in just 15 minutes.
