Rome

Perhaps the warm aroma of a bakery and the handmade leather of a local craftsman. After breakfast make your way to the port of Civitavecchia to join the ship. The quickest, cheapest and easiest way to  reach Civitavecchia is by train from the Rome Train Terminii station. It takes about 90 minutes and costs just 8 Euros per person.

Naples

From Naples most people head for the ancient Roman ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius or scoot across the bay to the island of Capri.

Barcelona

Universal's Port Aventura theme Park is situated close by, there is also the Picasso Museum, Gaudi Architecture and the Barcelona FC museum.

Majorca

Majorca is perfect for a beach stop, a wander around Palma the capital, a visit to the mountains and the monastery of Valldemossa – one time home of Chopin.

Marseille

Marseille is the oldest city and France filled with elegant shops , bars and restaurants. Visit the Church of Notre Dame with its statue of the Virgin Mary or further afield Avignon and Provence.

La Spezia

Approximately 50 minutes from the port (La Spezia) lies the ancient city of Pisa with its famous leaning tower. Then it's on to Florence – a renaissance treasure founded in the 16th century. Visit the main cathedral Il Duomo Di Firenze started in 1296 and completed in 1436, the Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio lines with gold and silver merchants.

Disembark the ship after breakfast in the Port of Civitavecchia and transfer to Rome airport for your flight home.
