Cinelandia

Cinelandia is one of new developments of Buenas Hotels. Its name is a tribute to the area that housed, between the years 1931 and 1960, the major movie theaters of the cultural circuit in São Paulo. The hotel occupies the same area of the renowned Cine Brodway, which was demolished to make way for the current building, designed by renowned architect Ramos de Azevedo, creator of several postcards in the capital. Believing in the potential of recovery and in that nostalgic ambience of appreciation for the  the downtown area history, the building was completely renovated in 2010, keeping its original classical façade, to offer its guests all the comfort, quality and convenience – for the fairest prices practiced in the area. With 84 apartments, Cinelandia has its privileged location as one of its key features, based just a short walk away from avenues Ipiranga and São João, the shopping hub of 25 de Março, the Monastery of St. Benedict and the traditional Bar Brahma and Gallery of Rock.

Venue & Legacy – Autódromo José Carlos Pace (Interlagos)

Nestled in the southern district of São Paulo, Interlagos, officially renamed Autódromo José Carlos Pace in honor of the 1975 Brazilian Grand Prix winneboasts a storied history dating back to its construction in 1938 and opening in 1940. Inspired by classic international circuits such as Brooklands, Roosevelt Raceway, and Montlhéry, Interlagos has evolved into a unique venue with a 4.309 km counter-clockwise layout. The Brazilian Grand Prix spans 71 laps (305.879 km), featuring a blend of fast straights, sweeping bends, tight technical sections, elevation changes, and a signature banked corner. Among the most iconic sections is the “Senna S,” a downhill-then-uphill sequence that tests driver skilr, l from the opening lap, along with the final banked turn leading uphill to the start/finish straight. Over decades, Interlagos has hosted countless unforgettable races, from dramatic last-lap championship deciders to rain-soaked spectacles, cementing its reputation as one of the most exciting and fan-favorite circuits.

Access & Race Weekend Experience (2026)

Situated roughly 25 km from central São Paulo, Interlagos is best reached via public transport. The Line 9-Esmeralda commuter rail (ViaMobilidade/CPTM) to Autódromo station places fans within 600 m of the gates, with express services running during race weekends for added convenience.
