The 93,558 tonne Norwegian Jade was launched in 2006 and was extensively refurbished in 2017. There are no set dining times and tables – you simply make a reservation in the restaurant of your choice at the time you want to eat.
All Norwegian Jade staterooms offer private en-suite facilities, hairdryer, air-conditioning, 24-hour room service, colour TV, safe, phone, small refrigerator and vanity area. The Haven complex has a private courtyard with swimming pool and hot tub exclusively for Haven Suite passengers.
There are 16 dining choices on board which include the two main waiter service dining rooms - (Grand Pacific & Alizar) and the Garden Cafe self-service style buffet restaurant. There are also two poolside bar and grills; The Pit Stop and the Great Outdoors Buffet. For no extra charge you can also choose from Jasmine Garden (Asian) and O'sheehan's Bar & Grill which is open 24 hours a day. For an extra charge you can also eat in the following speciality restaurants: Le Bistro (French), Moderno Churrascaria (Brazilian BBQ style), Teppenyaki (Asian hotplate cooking show table), Cagney’s Steakhouse La Cucina (Italian) and Pizza 24/7.
There are 15 bars and lounges on board, a theatre, casino, nightclub, two swimming pools and four hot tubs. There is also a spa with a mixed hydrotherapy pool / relaxation area and separate his and hers thermal suites with sauna, steam room and hot tub plus a beauty salon and a fitness centre. The kids can enjoy the kid’s clubs, kid’s pool, kid’s cafe, teen club with dance floor, cinema and video arcade.
