Celebrity Apex is the second of the acclaimed Edge class of ship. This is a ship that wows at every turn from the infinite balcony staterooms with large marble bathrooms to the ultra-cool Eden chill out lounge accessed through a dark grotto of golden trees, to the futuristic rooftop terrace. Celebrity seems to have replaced the conventional with amazing taking you into the future of cruising. There are 12 dining options on board, a gallery or relaxing poolside cabanas, an asymmetrical pool area and the Magic Carpet moving entertainment space up and down the outside edge of the ship. The Magic Carpet is a cantilevered deck space on the side of the ship making these ships profile distinctive from miles away. At the summit of the ship on deck 16 the Magic carpet becomes the ultimate specialty dining restaurant offering a special Dinner on the Edge. Down to deck 14 Magic Carpet becomes an extension of the main pool area making the perfect place for breath-taking views, tantalizing drinks and live music. On deck 5 Magic Carpet extends the ship’s restaurants into the most amazing al-fresco seating imaginable for 100 diners. At its lowest position on deck 2 the Magic Carpet is a key component to Destination Getaway, a luxury embarkation area where you will be whisked away on sleek edge launches for adventures ashore.

Eden is awesome in a cool futuristic way changing from a chilled café in the morning surrounded by three stories of glass and plants, to playful activities in the afternoon. Then at night it comes alive with specialty dining and a cocktail bar, where performance artists surround you at every level. Even the smell changes at night so you are truly immersed in the occasion of the evening!
