Fly to Seattle an make your way to your hotel for an overnight stay. The easiest way to reach downtwn Seattle from the airport is the Link Light Rail which takes about 35 minutes nad costs only $4 pp.

Mayflower Park Hotel

This residence is directly connected to the Westlake Centre and its 80 speciality shops and restaurants. Built in 1927, this hotel comprises a total of 160 rooms and was beautifully restored, retaining the atmosphere of a classic European establishment. Crystal chandeliers, lofty ceilings, stained glass windows and fresh flowers contribute to the feeling of old world charm. Lobby antiques include a 1776 grandfather clock and an 1810 English Regency breakfront. The exterior of the building has some of the finest terracotta detailing in Seattle. All guest rooms are tastefully appointed in classic colour schemes and many feature columned headboards and armoires in a traditional Queen Anne style. Seattle is perhaps not the best known American city for British travellers but it is a city which has lots to offer during a stay here. The shopping is excellent, as is the dining and bars for some lively nightlife. Pike Place Market is a focal point in the downtown area and just steps away from the waterfront. Pioneer Square marks Seattle's original downtown area dating back to 1852 and is home to art galleries , cafes , sports bars and nightclubs. The Seattle Underground Tour ($16pp) can be found here and is well worth it as you have a chance to visit eerie sunken store fronts and forgotten streets which were at the original ground level before the Great Fire of 1889. These were covered up and built on in an effort to clean up the city in the second half of the 19th century. For the best views of the city visit the Space Needle which was built for the World's Fair in 1962. This 605 foot tower is the equivalent to 60 floors high and houses the revolving Sky City restaurant open for lunch a dinner daily. It was built to withstand winds of up to 200 miles per hour and earthquakes of up to 9.1 in magnitude! At the Boeing Factory see how airplanes are built on this 4.5-hour small-group trip to the largest building in the world. Spend 90 minutes in the massive Boeing assembly plant and see a variety of different planes in production such as the 737, 747, 767, 777, 787, and Dreamliner aircraft . Then explore the interactive exhibits and displays in the Aviation Centre Gallery and visit the educational Future of Flight Aviation Centre museum.

Norwegian Joy

Norwegian Joy was launched in 2017 as the second of the Breakaway Plus class of ship following Norwegian Escape. She was originally designed for the Chinese market and in 2019 was refurbished and remodelled ready for the western market and repositioned to the USA. This 167,725-tonne ship has 20 decks with a wonderful range of signature Norwegian cruise Line facilities, an amazing line-up of 19 dining options and 14 bars. The ship features a bespoke virtual reality gaming complex in the Pavilion, a go-kart racetrack at sea, an incredible observation lounge, a laser tag course and Broadway style shows in the theatre.

With 19 dining options on board the choice is yours. Complimentary choices in the three main dining rooms (Taste, Savour, and Manhattan) and the Garden Cafe self-service buffet restaurant; you can even eat 24/7 at The Local Bar and Grill or opt for room service. Speciality dining includes top signature NCL favourites of Le Bistro (French), La Cucina (Italian), Teppanyaki (Asian Fusion hotplate), Cagney's Steakhouse, Texas Smokehouse Q, Ocean Blue (seafood), Food Republic (World -wide i-Pad menus), The District Brewhouse and more. Take advantage of most of these with the free speciality dining package included in the price. The Waterfront promenade area is lined with bars and restaurants for Al-fresco dinning too.

The main pool area includes two swimming pools, two hot tubs and an aqua fun park with two breath-taking waterslides. Icy Straight Point is a privately owned island operated by the native Tlingit Nation. Juneau

Juneau, the capital of Alaska, is perched on a hillside where the historic downtown buildings give the city a charming frontier feel.
