With premium dining, drinks and onboard comfort included, this cruise delivers a relaxing journey through one of Europe’s most celebrated river valleys.

Fly to Port and transfer to the River cruiser port to embark the boat at 5pm. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail before dinner. In the evening, we'll set out on an optional CLASSIC / DISCOVERY excursion by coach to see Porto by night.

MS Vasco De Gama

Named after the famous Portuguese navigator who discovered the route to India, MS Vasco da Gama sails on the Douro. Passengers can admire the unique landscapes, sculpted by nature and shaped by man, along an enchanted valley where the famous port wine is produced.

Completely renovated in 2014, this intimate-sized ship measures 75 m long and 11,40 m wide. It can accommodate 136 passengers in 70 cabins spread over three decks. The size of each cabin is between 11 m2 and 12,50 m2 , offering amenities and providing guests with all the comforts they need during their stay.

The majority of cabins are located on the upper deck and have large panoramic windows. Those on the middle and main decks have large windows. The decoration is stylish and its atmosphere, both elegant and friendly, and in perfect harmony with its surroundings. SUN DECK - POOL RESTAURANT Located on the main deck, the restaurant offers a delicate cuisine in a refined setting, where large windows allow guests to fully enjoy the panorama. The lounge/bar with dance floor, located on the middle deck, welcomes passengers during evening entertainment. A swimming pool and comfortable sun loungers are provided on the sun deck, with a large shaded area, the ideal place to relax and admire the surrounding landscapes

Spend the morning at leisure in Porto - perhaps join one of the optional excursions on board.  In the afternoon, we'll cruise through the Douro Valley with its fabulous landscapes. Enjoy an evening of dancing or time at leisure in Regua tonight.

Regua

Régua, Portugal is the gateway to the Douro Valley, famous for its terraced vineyards, port wine estates and stunning river scenery. Set along the Douro River, Régua offers visitors wine tastings, scenic viewpoints, traditional quintas and access to some of Portugal’s most beautiful landscapes. With its charming riverside promenade, cultural museums and close links to nearby towns and estates, Régua is a key stop for travellers exploring the heart of the Douro wine region.

Spend the morning at leisure in Regua. In the afternoon, the cruise continues to the heart of the most famous vineyards in Porto to Vega de Terron. We'll arrive in the evening. Enjoy an evening of Flamenco entertainment.

Vega De Teron

Vega de Terrón is a peaceful riverside village on the Spanish–Portuguese border, serving as the gateway to Spain’s Salamanca region. Surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards and quiet countryside, it’s a popular stop on Douro River cruises. Visitors can enjoy scenic walks, explore local traditions and use Vega de Terrón as a starting point for excursions to historic towns and cultural landmarks. Its tranquil setting and easy access to both countries make it a charming highlight of any Douro itinerary.

Perhaps join the optional excrusion to Salamanca or stay on the boat and cruise to Barca D'Alva. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.

Barca D'Alva

Barca d’Alva is a peaceful riverside village in northern Portugal, surrounded by terraced hills, vineyards and the quiet beauty of the Douro Valley. Located around 110 km from Salamanca, it serves as an ideal gateway for excursions into one of Spain’s most historic cities. Visitors can enjoy scenic viewpoints, walking trails and the natural charm of the Douro International Natural Park. Barca d’Alva is a popular stop on river cruises, offering a tranquil atmosphere and easy access to regional culture and landscapes.

This morning will be spent cruising to Pinhao. Tonight's our gala dinner and evening.

Pinhao

Pinhão is one of the most iconic towns in Portugal’s Douro Valley, surrounded by terraced vineyards, traditional wine estates and stunning river views. Known for its historic railway station decorated with azulejo tiles, Pinhão is the heart of port wine production and a favourite stop for river‑cruise travellers. Located approximately 25 km from Ferradosa, it offers easy access to scenic drives, vineyard tours and riverside walks. With its relaxed atmosphere, wine heritage and beautiful landscapes, Pinhão captures the true spirit of the Douro region.

Spend the morning at leisure in Pinhao or perhaps join one of the optional excursions. This afternoon will be spent cruising back to Porto. Enjoy an evening of Fado-themed entertainment.
