Haugesund

Haugesund is a town in western Norway with a rich maritime and Viking heritage. Explore its historical monuments, museums, parks, shops and cafés on foot or by boat. The town's development was largely thanks to the herring fisheries. Alta

Alta lies at the northern edge of Norway 230 Miles within the Arctic Circle. Narvik

Narvik lies 137miles in the Arctic Circle and its remote location features better transportation links to Sweden than it does to the rest of Norway. Narvik lies in a deep fjord on the coast surrounded by majestic mountains 1500 metres high. It was established to ship iron ore from Sweden and as a result became the site of the first major battle in World War 2 between allied forces and Nazi Germany. Go on a magical sightseeing tour on the Ofotbanen Railway or soak up the views from the Rallarveien Trail with narrow suspension bridges over the fjord.

Andalsnes is a small town at the mouth of the Rauma River close to Romsdalfjord and is set in sparkling fjordland scenery surrounded by green peaks 411km from Oslo. Its all about the lakes and mountains here with plenty of opportunities to hike up to high viewing platforms with magnificent views or cosy train journeys passing through magical scenery with lots of history.
