Arrive at Mumbai International Airport. Following immigration, baggage collection and customs, Tamarind Global 
representative will meet you at the EXIT of ARRIVAL TERMINAL building after which you will be transferred to your hotel.

Spend the rest of the day at leisure or go for a stroll at the Marine drive also known as the Queen’s Necklace. 

Following breakfast at the hotel, proceed for half day Mumbai city tour.  
Visit the Gateway of India, situated at Apollo Bunder. Next, visit the Prince of Wales Museum, which houses a priceless 
collection of art, sculpture, China and other antiques. Drive past the Victoria Terminus, Mumbai University and Rajabai 
Clock Tower. Make a photo stop at Dhobi Ghat, the open-air laundry of the city.  
Welcome aboard the Deccan Odyssey. This evening assembles at the Chhatrapati railway station at approximately 1530 
hours to complete the registration process and check in formalities for your Indian Odyssey journey, as you receive a 
traditional Indian welcome and enjoy a refreshing welcome drink. 
After completion of all formalities, you will be shown to your delightful cabins. As you settle in, the Deccan Odyssey 
shall depart Mumbai for Nashik.  

This morning, the Deccan Odyssey brings you to the sacred city of Nashik, a fascinating destination where ancient 
spirituality seamlessly blends with modernity as it rapidly evolves into the wine capital of India. Upon disembarking, you 
will spend a serene morning walking along the historic Godavari Ghats. Your journey continues with an immersive stroll through the lively, kaleidoscopic market adjacent to the ghat offering a vibrant sensory glimpse into local life with stalls selling everything from fresh  vegetables and lentils to dried seafood and traditional cow dung cakes.  Then leave the riverbanks behind and head to the world-renowned Sula Vineyards for an exclusive, private tour of one of India’s premier winemaking facilities. You will return to the luxury of the Deccan Odyssey to relax and  enjoy the changing landscapes as the train sets forth for Aurangabad.

As the Deccan Odyssey rolls into Aurangabad this morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board before disembarking for 
a scenic drive to the spectacular Ellora Caves Click to open side panel for more information. Carved dramatically into the 
side of a basaltic hill just 30 kilometers from the city, this UNESCO World Heritage site stands as the finest specimen of 
ancient rock-cut cave-temple architecture in India. You will spend the morning exploring its 34 magnificent shrines, which 
represent a harmonious blend of Buddhist, Jain, and Hindu art and devotion dating back to the 4th and 5th centuries AD.  
After marveling at these monumental structures, you will return to the station to reboard the train for a sumptuous lunch 
on board. The rest of your afternoon and evening is dedicated to pure relaxation; for your next adventure at the exquisite Ajanta Caves.

As the Deccan Odyssey arrives at Pachora railway station this morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board before 
disembarking for a scenic drive to the spectacular Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site and an absolute 
architectural marvel of its time. You will spend the morning exploring this dramatic horseshoe-shaped gorge, home to 30 
masterfully rock-hewn Buddhist caves that date back to the 2nd century BC. After immersing yourself in these ancient treasures, you will return to the station to reboard the Deccan Odyssey. A  sumptuous lunch will be served on board as the train begins its journey toward the multifaceted city of Kolhapur. As evening approaches, you can sit back with a refreshing sundowner and watch the 
beautiful tapestry of rural India unfold outside your window just before a gourmet dinner is served.

Fontainhas, the historic Latin Quarter of Panjim, which boasts beautifully preserved heritage homes built in classic 
Portuguese architectural styles.Your journey then takes you into the lush Goan countryside for an aromatic spice plantation tour, culminating in a sumptuous, traditional lunch packed with local flavors.As the afternoon winds down, you will return to the

cradled near the rugged Malvan coast. After an appetizing breakfast on board, you will disembark and drive to the 
captivating village of Pinguli. Here, you will be treated to an exclusive glimpse into the rare and beautiful world of the 
Thakar community's folk arts and crafts at the local museum. You will get to marvel at centuries-old tribal traditions, 
including vibrant puppetry and hand-painted Chitrakathi scrolls that bring ancient epics to life.

Early this morning, after enjoying your final breakfast on board, you will disembark at the historic Chhatrapati Shivaji 
Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai. TAMARAIND GLOBAL representative & car will await your Arrival at Railway Station to transfer you to your Hotel for the day. After freshening up in the late afternoon proceed for fort walk. This captivating journey begins at the iconic, mid-1800s
