Cruise region
Caribbean
A Caribbean cruise is one of the simplest ways to visit several islands in one holiday, with white beaches, warm sea and a different island most days. Most sailings start in Florida, so many UK travellers combine the cruise with a few nights in Miami or Orlando. It is a favourite for winter sun when the UK is at its coldest.

Do Caribbean cruises sail from Florida?
Many Caribbean cruises leave from Florida, especially Miami, and others sail from New York, New Orleans and Barbados.
What about hurricane season?
The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June to November. Cruise lines can change itineraries to avoid storms, so travel insurance is sensible.
